DMARC
DefinitionDMARC is a DNS policy that tells receivers what to do with email that fails SPF and DKIM alignment for a domain (deliver, quarantine or reject) and where to send reports about it.
The record is published at _dmarc.yourdomain, for example v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; rua=mailto:reports@yourdomain.com. DMARC passes when SPF or DKIM passes for the same domain as the visible From address.
Large mailbox providers require bulk senders to publish DMARC, with at least p=none.
