DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
DefinitionDKIM is an email authentication method that adds a cryptographic signature to each message, which receivers verify with a public key published in the sender's DNS.
The public key lives at selector._domainkey.yourdomain, where the selector is a name chosen by the sending service. A valid signature shows the message wasn't altered and was signed by the domain in the signature.
2048-bit RSA keys are the current recommendation. For DMARC, the signing domain must match the From domain.
